Mindless Rambling About Me
I like long walks in the middle of nowhere. I have 30 years of insanity under my belt and it shows. I have a bendable Woody figure on my desk at work and love running in the rain but I hate wet soggy socks. I love pickles.
Crazy story … when I was in first grade I was bitten by my best friend. Don’t worry; I proceeded to whip him with the jump rope. We both survived. Although I haven’t seen him around since graduation. Probably took up underwater basket weaving.
I wish people talked to each other more. I love Cherry Twizzlers. I hate black licorice unless it’s a good and plenty. Do you know how to eat a Good ‘n Plenty? You chew the candy off first then enjoy the yummy center. Oreos are just the opposite. My question is why don’t Oreos smell as good as they taste and why does Vicks Vapor run and nail polish smell so good but are not edible?
Another crazy story … I almost killed my brother once. Not intentionally … running with his limp body in my arms was the scariest moment of my life. Well other than the morning peek in the mirror.
I don’t like being dizzy nor do I like sitting in bathtubs I do however enjoy tubing down the non-chlorinated river.
Finally, I am single and crazy enough to still be searching for my beautiful wife. You know her?
An Actual Biography
I grew up in the small farming community of New London, WI which oddly enough changes to a completely different place once a year when they change the name of the city to New Dublin, WI. While I grew up in the church, I truly didn’t get serious about it until I was 11. That was the year that God got a hold of me and set me on the course that He had planned for me. At age 12 I started serving on the puppet team “Puppets of Praise” at Clintonville Tabernacle in Clintonville, WI. As time past, I soon became the Assistant to the Children’s Pastor. The Children’s Pastor there (Leslie) played a huge role in shaping my creativity and still serves there today.
In 2005, I became connected with a phenomenal couple from Milwaukee who launched “World Outreach & Bible Training Center“. I eventually moved to Milwaukee to help support their ministry as the Assistant to the Children’s Pastor. During this time I also had the opportunity to work with Dana Johnson Ministries for a large conference in Milwaukee. Little did I know that God was lining big things up for me. In 2009, God spoke to me and told me that my season in Milwaukee was coming to an end and a new season was beginning in the Fox Valley. After much prayer and counsel I made the decision to leave the staff position in Milwaukee and move to Appleton. God provided everything I needed. Today I serve as the Assistant Children’s Ministry Director at Pathways Church in Appleton, WI and love it.
