When you look in the mirror what do you see? Most of us would start talking about our weight, our bald spot or even that horrible pimple that keeps popping up on our face. We completely ignore the awesome smile. It’s the same with our gifting. Usually we only see our flaws … our shyness … our weird laugh … and we rarely look at our good qualities like our ability to lead or that we are great organizers. We over look our good qualities and even sometimes forget about them.

I guarantee that if you start looking at your good qualities (your gifting) then you will become a more confident person. You have to be confident in your own giftings in order to be a great leader. So today I encourage you to make a list of your good qualities. See the great things that God has gifted you with. Don’t ignore the flaws but don’t focus on them and allow your flaws to hold you back from what God has for you. Look at the flaws as opportunities of growth.
